On Sunday May 23 I was invited to do an artist talk at Dronninglund Artcentre in Denmark. It was arranged by curator Connie Boe Boss as part of the exhibition With The Image As A Bridge.
The artists Jonas Pihl and Rasmus Styrmer were also doing a talk. I was the first in line.
Standing in front of the audience, fifty people enjoying a good time while having lunch made me so emotional that I could barely hold the microphone. It was the first live event since lockdown. I did not realize how much I have missed being surrounded by kindly hearted people in the name of art. I am grateful that I had my talk written down, otherwise I am not sure I would have been able to talk my way through it. In other words, thank you all for showing up. It was a very intense, sensitive and a moving experience to me.
