Mia-Nelle Drøschler’s artistic practice is a diverse and multidimensional exploration of the human psyche, delving into the realms of the subconscious and spiritual internal life. Drøschler employs various methods and mediums to capture and convey the narratives that reside within these hidden depths.

One of her distinctive approaches is the creation of black and white drawings. These monochromatic works of art often take on an enigmatic quality, using stark contrasts and intricate details to peel back the layers of the human experience. In the absence of color, Drøschler’s black and white drawings invite viewers to contemplate the essence of emotion, thought, and meaning with a raw and unfiltered intensity.

In contrast to the minimalism of black and white, Drøschler also utilizes vibrant and colorful watercolors reminiscent of tarot cards. These vivid compositions transport the observer into a world of symbolism and mysticism. Each hue and brushstroke carries profound significance, unraveling a tapestry of emotions and archetypal imagery. In her colorful watercolors, Drøschler channels the spiritual and the mystical, offering a visual portal to the inner sanctum of the soul.

Furthermore, Drøschler’s art often takes on a collage-like quality, combining elements from various sources to construct intricate visual narratives. Through this method, she assembles fragments of images and ideas, creating a layered and multifaceted representation of the subconscious. These collages draw connections between seemingly disparate elements, weaving a tapestry of thought and emotion that transcends conventional boundaries.

In her unique and diverse artistic expressions, Mia-Nelle Drøschler invites us to embark on a journey into the depths of the human experience, where the black and white drawings, the colorful tarot-like watercolors, and the collage-like compositions serve as portals to the uncharted territories of the subconscious and the spiritual internal life. Her work challenges us to explore the enigmatic and mystical aspects of our existence, offering glimpses into the rich tapestry of narratives that shape our inner worlds.
