I approach the white canvas as a stage which I enter. My body is a brush. Addressing the painting as a performative act. Leaving marks behind. Color and form; an expression of an internal landscape. (At some point I will stop painting. This is the most difficult act. To stop.) Many layers of paint are added and then removed. Only to add more layers. It is a constant movement. Building up and taken down to start all over again.
